Ganguly gets nod to play for Glamorgan

The BCCI has given permission to India captain Sourav Ganguly to play for Glamorgan County club in England.

The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) has given permission to India captain Sourav Ganguly to play for Glamorgan County club in England. Ganguly has been permitted to play for the county subject to the condition that he would be released for any assignment of the Indian cricket team, BCCI secretary S K Nair said today. Ganguly had been informed of the Board's decision, he added. Nair said Ganguly's request to BCCI President Ranbir Singh Mahendra seeking permission to play for the Glamorgan county was considered by BCCI yesterday. (PTI)
