Kolkata:

Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly has reportedly been called up by match referee Jeff Crowe on a dissent charge. Ganguly, like Harbhajan Singh, made his displeasure quite clear when South African batsman Jacques Kallis was given not out off this appeal on the fourth day of the Kolkata Test today. Harbhajan reportedly asked Kallis to walk, but was later seen on television apologising to him for the outburst. Ganguly can ill afford any more trouble with match referees. He already has a total of eight offences to his name, the latest of which was a slow over rate. That two Test ban was, however, overturned by an ICC appeals commissioner.
