Mumbai:

A fit-again Abhishek Nayar has promptly found himself back in the Mumbai squad for their concluding Ranji Trophy Elite Division Group A tie against Punjab to be played at the Brabourne Stadium here from December 18-21.

Nayar has recovered from dengue fever that forced the all rounder to miss most of the ties for Mumbai earlier this season.

Mumbai would again miss the services of their regular vice captain Ajit Agarkar, who has just recovered from viral fever but has had little practice, according to Mumbai Cricket Association's joint secretary and senior selection panel convenor Hemant Waingankar.

"The selectors have made three changes in the team that went to Cuttack for the last match. They have included Nayar, Rajesh Varma and Ramesh Powar (who opted out of the tie against Orissa to take some rest) in place of Wilkin Mota, Omkar Khanwilkar and Vinayak Mane", he added.

The squad: Wasim Jaffer (capt), Amol Muzumdar (vice-capt), Ajinkya Rahane, Sahil Kukreja, Rohit Sharma, Abhishek Nayar, Vinayak Samant (wk), Sairaj Bahutule, Usman Malvi, Dhawal Kulkarni, Ankit Chavan, Kshemal Waingankar, Rahil Shaikh, Ramesh Powar and Rajesh Varma.
