Imran Farhat has vowed to fight back after receiving a legal notice from the PCB asking him to explain how he joined the ICL while still being contracted.

Lahore:

Imran Farhat has vowed to fight back after receiving a legal notice from the Pakistan Cricket board asking him to explain how he joined the ICL while still being contracted to the PCB.

Farhat has a week's time to answer the board.

Farhat says he is confused by the Board's action. On the one hand they are going all out to try and convince the ICL exports to stay in Pakistan, and now on the other hand they have served Farhat with a legal notice.

Last month angry at being dropped for the Twenty-20 World Cup, Imran Farhat chose to sign up with the ICL. He gave up his PCB contract to make the move.

At the time quotes in the press from the PCB claimed that they had released Farhat. But now the PCB board says Farhat has been served legal notice, and he has been asked to explain his anti Board statements.
