6.3 OUT! TAKEN! Ethan-John Cunningham tries to up the ante but perishes! Cunningham was looking a bit edgy out there and went for too much too early here. Joshua Boyden hits the length hard, around off. Cunningham makes room leg side and looks to lift it over the long off fence. He manages only to slice it high in the area, around the cover region. Jacob Bethell takes a couple of steps backwards and holds on to a fine catch. England Under-19 right on top of proceedings here and Joshua Boyden has his second. 21/2

Valentine Kitime | 2 | 9 | 0 | 0 | 22.22 |
c Tom Prest b Joshua Boyden
4.2 OUT! TAKEN! The skipper takes a good catch and England Under-19 have the first breakthrough! This has been a brilliant start with the ball from the two young pacers. Joshua Boyden pitches it up, around the off pole and angles it away nicely. Valentine Kitime is caught on the crease as he neither goes forward nor backwards and pushes at it with hard hands. The ball goes off the outside edge to the right of Tom Prest at first slip and he takes a fine low catch. 11/1

Dewald Brevis | 97 | 88 | 9 | 4 | 110.22 |
c James Rew b James Sales
35.1 OUT! TAKEN! Heartbreak for Brevis! He deserved a ton! 96 in the previous game and 97 in this one! Very unfortunate on missing out a ton but this has been a beautiful innings. He is the sole reason for the position his side are in. They aren't in a great one but would have been in a terrible position had it not been for him. He takes a few steps down the track. Sales bangs it short and into the body. Brevis looks to flick but closes the face of the bat early. It goes off the leading edge and the man at covers, Rew takes a good diving catch to his left. A standing ovation for Brevis as he walks back and deserves every bit of it. England can now keep South Africa Under-19 below 200 now. 168/7

This time, Bethell goes full and quicker and bowls it on the stumps. Maree sweeps but misses and the stumps are hit. Important wicket. 76/3

George Van Heerden C | 7 | 28 | 0 | 0 | 25 |
c Alex Horton b Rehan Ahmed
26.5 OUT! CAUGHT! The skipper was being bogged down for a long time and finally crumbles under pressure. Nicely tossed up, on a length and around middle. George Van Heerden looks to join in on the party and goes for the big slog sweep. He only manges to get a top edge and the ball pops up around the short leg region. The keeper, Alex Horton simply walks towards it and takes an easy catch. Huge wicket this in the context of the game and Rehan Ahmed has some redemption. 117/4

Andile Simelane | 7 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
b Rehan Ahmed
28.5 OUT! Cleaned up! Rehan Ahmed with yet another wrong 'un and Andile Simelane is sent packing! This is bowled a bit quicker, on a length and around off. Simelane hops back and looks to cut but he hasn't read the googly at all. The ball turns in sharply and knocks over the stumps. Andile Simelane is out for a duck and Rehan Ahmed is making the ball talke here. South Africa Under-19 on a slump here. 129/5

Michael Copeland | 1 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 20 |
c George Thomas b Rehan Ahmed
30.2 OUT! TAKEN! Another one bites the dust and it is all falling apart for South Africa! Dewald Brevis can't believe what he is seeing at the other end, he just needs someone to hang around with him but no one is doing so. Rehan gets his third. This is tossed up on middle, Michael Copeland looks to go big, he tries to clear the long on fence but hits it straight up in the air towards the fielder there. It is taken by George. South Africa Under-19 slip further. 135/6

Liam Alder | 8 | 19 | 0 | 0 | 42.10 |
c William Luxton b James Sales
35.3 OUT! TAKEN! Another one bites the dust and England well and truly on top now! What a move to get on Sales. He has two in the over. On the body, Alder looks to flick but it goes off the top edge high up in the air towards square leg. The man in the deep runs in, dives forward and takes it brilliantly. Luxton it was. 169/8

run out (Joshua Boyden / Alex Horton)
43.4 OUT! RUN OUT! That's it, the South African innings comes to an end. In the end, it does take a run out to get the final wicket but this last wicket partnership has been thoroughly entertaining. Short, on off and cut away towards point for a quick single. Joshua Boyden over there is onto it in a flash and fires in a good throw towards the keeper. Alex Horton whips off the bails in a flash. The replay shows that this time the dive doesn't save Tshaka. South Africa Under-19 end with 209/10! 209/10

run out (Andile Simelane / Gerhardus Maree)
13.3 OUT! RUN OUT! There was never a run there! Not sure why Thomas went for it. He is short by a long way. On off, this is guided towards backward point. Thomas calls for one. They go for it. Andile Simelane at point, runs to his left and then fires it to the keeper who whips the bails off. It is taken upstairs and replays show that the batter is well short. Two wickets in quick succession. South Africa will just start believing a little. 124/2

Jacob Bethell | 88 | 42 | 16 | 2 | 209.52 |
c Ethan-John Cunningham b Asakhe Tshaka
10.4 OUT! TAKEN! Something to rejoice about for South Africa! End of a special innings from Jacob Bethell but he will be gutted he did not score a ton here. It was on the offer but he actually throws it away. He could have easily just nudged it around and got to his ton but he tried to continue the way he has been playing and falls in the attempt. He plays the slog sweep, drags this from outside off, hits it really well but straight to deep mid-wiket where Ethan-John Cunningham takes it. Jacob Bethell though has done his job. For South Africa, they need maybe three or four more quickly. 110/1

Tom Prest C | 24 | 33 | 2 | 1 | 72.72 |
lbw b Dewald Brevis
19.3 OUT! LBW! Dewald Brevis comes on and strikes! He can do no wrong! On middle, Prest looks to play the paddle scoop but misses. He gets hit right in front on the pads. An appeal and the finger is raised. 60 more needed. 150/3

James Rew | 14 | 25 | 2 | 0 | 56 |
lbw b Dewald Brevis
23.5 OUT! LBW! Dewald Brevis gets his second wicket and that looked dead straight. This is pushed through fuller, around leg stump. James Rew, from deep in his crease looks to sweep it away but misses. He gets rapped on the pads and the finger is raised in a jiffy. Is there life still left in this match? 169/4
