Mumbai:
Yousuf and ICL are caught up in legal wrangle, as the Essel Group-bankrolled ICL alleged that he breached his earlier contract with them to sign up for the IPL.
The dispute is before the arbiter, Justice (retd) B P Saraf, who on December 15 last year restrained Yousuf from playing for any rival league till further orders.
However, Yousuf's name figures in list of players that IPL has put out, ahead of the auction on Wednesday.
ICL, on the other hand, has warned the IPL's franchises that if they signed up Yousuf, that would be breach of Saraf's order.
Notice sent by ICL takes exception to an announcment by Pakistan Cricket Board last month that the arbiter had allowed Yousuf to play in other cricket leagues.
ICL spokesperson said a notice has been sent to IPL too.
IPL president Lalit Modi had said earlier that if "there is any problem, we would remove Yousuf's name from the bidding list."
