India's defeat in Colombo has opened a debate on the ability of the Indian batsmen to tackle spin.

New Delhi:

How does one describe India's disastrous show in Colombo? Disgraceful indeed. How could the Indians who taught the world how to play spin look so helpless before someone making his Test debut. How could a debutant like Mendis wreak havoc on the famed Indian batting lineup? The defeat has opened a debate on the ability of the Indian batsmen to tackle spin.

So, which one of the following do you think caused India's poor show in the first Test?

a) The Mendis hype

b) Too much cricket

c) Failure to decode the Murli-Mendis craft
