Dav Whatmore was not considered good enough to become coach of the Indian team.

But the Australian could still be getting a job with the BCCI.

Ravi Shastri, the new director of the NCA or the National Cricket Academy apparently wants to offer him a job as the director of operations.

Whatmore, who was once a frontrunner to replace Greg Chappell has actually been out of a job since April this year since refusing to renew his contract with the Bangladesh team.
