Karachi:

PCB Chairman Ejaz Butt on Wednesday said he would not like to lose Javed Miandad, who resigned from the the post of Director General, from his team and would take up the matter with him after returning to the country.

Butt, who is in Australia to attend the ICC executive board meeting, said he was ready to resolve all the issues.

Miandad resigned early on Wednesday insisting he was not satisfied with the terms of his contract.

"I am abroad and I really don't know what has happened. Miandad did mention to me about him being unhappy with his contract.

Sources close to Miandad said he had informed the Chairman about his resignation on telephone and Butt had given him a cold response.
