Chennai: India's sensational medium fast bowler Irfan Pathan said on Thursday it was too early to dub him as an all-rounder. Pathan, who bagged 12 wickets in the three-Test series against Pakistan early this year, said he was concentrating on his bowling. Pathan was talking to reporters in Chennai after going through training at the MRF Pace Foundation. "It's very early to say about being an all-rounder. I just want to concentrate on my bowling. I am playing for India because of my bowling. If my batting is going to improve, it will improve, I don't have to say about batting. I have to concentrate on bowling first and not batting," said Pathan. The 19 year old also impressed with his batting skills while facing Pakistan's pace bowlers. Pathan admitted that he gained tremendous confidence during the Pakistan tour. "The Pakistan tour has definitely picked up my confidence a lot higher than what it used to be before. After the Pakistan tour my confidence is certainly different. Everybody wants to play against confidence," he said. India won both the Test and one-day series during its first tour to Pakistan in almost 15 years.
