Bopara starred in England's three wicket win against India in the 4th ODI at Old Trafford.

The 22-year-old Essex all rounder had injured himself on Sunday in Leeds and could be out of action for upto six weeks.

England have called up Sussex's Luke Wright as cover since Andrew Flintoff is also believed to be doubtful for the remaining ODIs and the Twenty20 World Cup.
