The meeting of the Marketing Committee of the BCCI was held today to discuss the contentions telecast right issue with two key members I S Bindra and N Srinivasan not participating. The meeting was held a day after the Delhi High Court decided not to take up for hearing a petition on the telecast right issue filed by Zee Telfilms. Zee was one of the four bidders for the rights to telecast international cricket matches for the next four years. A few days back, the Mumbai Cricket Association president, Sharad Pawar, had resigned from the committee citing lack of time for the committee. Pawar is a contender for the post of BCCI president.
