New Delhi:

The current India-Australia ODI series is fast turning into a slugfest, both on and off the field.

Harbhajan Singh has spoken out against the Aussies, saying they targeted him with personal and vulgar words during the 2nd ODI in Kochi.

After being dismissed by Michael Clarke, Bhajji was seen waiting at mid-pitch and pointing his bat at the Aussie fielders, which he says he did in response to vulgar language that was used against him.

The off-spinner felt that though the Aussies say they play the game in the right spirit, they do not do so in reality.

"There is nothing gentlemanly about the way they play," he added.

The match in Kochi was high on aggression count, with Sreesanth too at his aggressive best against the Aussies and especially against Andrew Symonds.
