BCCI to decide on Team India coach

New Delhi:

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is meeting in the capital today.

On the table will be a number of issues, including sorting through the number of applications that the BCCI has received for the post of coach of the Indian team.

The board will be discussing whether they want to go for a Indian coach or a foreign one.

Also, the issue of whether or not people associated with the BCCI can contribute to articles in newspapers and other publications will be tabled.

The furore over this particular issue started when Chairman of Selectors Dilip Vengsarkar was asked not to express his views in newspaper articles.

India's participation in Asia Cup, which is scheduled for April 2008, will also come up during the meeting.
