BCCI awaits govt's response

BCCI has on Friday made it clear that it would abide by the government's decision on Indian cricket team's tour of Pakistan.

BCCI has on Friday made it clear that it would abide by the government's decision on Indian cricket team's tour of Pakistan.

"It is the government to decide whether Indian cricket players would visit Pakistan or not. We will abide by that decision," BCCI Vice-President Rajiv Shukla told reporters.

"We have already written to the government on the matter and are awaiting response," Shukla said. On the issue of security threat to Indian players, the Congress leader said "security issue has to be addressed."
