BCCI announces schedule for Aus, SA series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today announced the dates and venues for Australia and South Africa's tour of India later this year. The Aussies will play the first Test at Bangalore from October 6, announced BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya after the second day of the Board's working committee meeting. The Australians will play the other three Tests of the four-match series in Chennai (October 14 to 18), Nagpur (October 26 to 30) and Mumbai (November 3 to 7). The Australians would begin the tour with a three-day match at Hyderabad from September 30, he added. Proteas to tour India The home series against Australia would soon be followed by a two-Test series against South Africa, schedule for which was also announced by the Board president. After a three-day match at Jaipur from November 14, South Africa will play their two Test matches in Kanpur (November 20-24) and Kolkata (November 28 to December 2), Dalmiya said. The Board president also said that the Platinum Jubilee one-day match between India and Pakistan would be held on November 14 and Kolkata was the likely venue.
