The Australian cricket team arrived in Bangalore today for the first Test of the four-match series against India commencing here on Wednesday.

The Australian cricket team arrived in Bangalore today for the first Test of the four-match series against India commencing here on Wednesday. The tourists flew in from Mumbai, where they played a three-day tour opener against Ranji Trophy champions Mumbai that concluded on Saturday. The visitors took a 47-run lead over Mumbai, who made 255 in their first innings, and then rattled up 207 for one in quick time in the second innings before the game ended in a draw at the Brabourne Stadium.
