Australia have been bowled out for just 220 in the first Test against Sri Lanka at Galle today.

Australia have been bowled out for just 220 in the first Test against Sri Lanka at Galle. The Australians won the toss and chose to bat first, but it was Muttiah Muralitharn who did all the damage. His 6 for 59 is the 40th time that he's taken a 5 wicket haul in Test cricket. For Australia, the top scorer was Darren Lehmann who made 63. Earlier, Brett Lee was ruled out for this Test with Michael Kasprowicz taking his place. Sri Lanka batted sensibly to put on a 53 run opening stand but Warne took just 18 ball deliveries on his comeback to get a wicket. Sanath Jayasuriya was out leg before for 35, but Sri Lanka were well on top at 81 for 1 at the end of the 1st day.
