Atapattu confident of comeback in series

Sri Lankan captain Marvan Attapattu expressed confidence that his team will bounce back in the 7-match one-day series against India.

New Delhi: Sri Lankan captain Marvan Attapattu expressed confidence that his team will bounce back in the seven-match one-day series against India despite trailing 0-2. "We will surely bounce back," he said while departing from Mohali. Asked if the team would adopt a different strategy for the Jaipur tie, Atapattu said while the team may have its plans, he was not willing to share them with the media. India beat the islanders by 152 runs in the opening match of the series in Nagpur and followed it up with an eight wicket victory in Mohali. (PTI)
