Durban:
Asif hurt his elbow during pratcice before the Australia game and is still in a good deal of pain.
PCB Chairman Naseem Ashraf is annoyed with the team management for playing him in the dead rubber against Bangladesh on Thursday in spite of him not being 100 per cent fit.
He believes this could have further aggravated the injury. Asif's discomfort was clearly evident during that match.
If Asif misses out, it will be a huge blow for Pakistan who have relied heavily on the pace bowler for early strikes as well as keeping the run rate down.
