The team for the Asia Cup was announced today with a few minor changes from the side that won the series in Pakistan. The selectors have decided to go with just seven batsmen, all of whom had travelled to Pakistan. The selectors are also likely to continue their policy of playing seven batsmen and four bowlers. Parthiv Patel has been selected once again, but could just be carrying the drinks once more. Sourav Ganguly had said before the start of the training camp at Chennai that Rahul Dravid is likely to continue behind the stumps for the shorter version of the game. Bhajji back Harbhajan Singh is back into the thick of things and his return means Murali Kartik and Ramesh Powar miss out on the Asia Cup. Anil Kumble is the other spinner in the squad. In the pace department, selectors have gone for Zaheer Khan and Ashish Nehra along with Irfan Pathan and L Balaji. Team: Sourav Ganguly (Captain), Rahul Dravid (Vice-Captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag, Mohammad Kaif, Parthiv Patel, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, Irfan Pathan, L Balaji.
