Sasikiran takes sole lead

GM K Sasikiran takes sole lead with 11.5 points to his credit at the end of the 15th round in the Bharat Petroleum 39th national 'A' chess championship.

Grandmaster K Sasikiran, who comfortably got the better of Woman International Master Swati Ghate today, took the sole lead with 11.5 points to his credit at the end of the 15th round in the Bharat Petroleum 39th national 'A' chess championship here. GM P Harikrishna, who drew his long fought battle against GM Dibyendu Barua, with a tally of 11 points, was closely following Sasikiran. The draw left Barua at the third place with 10.5 points. IM S S Ganguly takes the fourth place with 10 points. (PTI)
