Grandmaster K Sasikiran emerged sole leader with 13.5 points despite being held to a draw by P Magesh Chandran at the end of the 18th round of the Bharat Petroleum 39th National 'A' Chess Championship. However, overnight joint leader GM P Harikrishna slipped to second position after being shocked by IM R B Ramesh. GM Dibyendu Barua remained stuck on 12 points and was overtaken by IM S S Ganguly, who beat him today. Ganguly took his tally to 12.5 points and is third, while Barua was pushed to the fourth place. These four will fight it out tomorrow to decide the first four places and the prizes. (PTI)
