The Ukraine still leads with an almost unassailable 36.5 points, with a three-point cushion over Russsia. India is joint fifth on 31.5 points. The Indians not only need a landslide victory in the last round, but also need teams ahead of them to do badly to get a medal. Chinese women have won the gold with the last round to play, beating India 2-0. The sixth-seeded Indian women's team have no medal chances left as they have only 22.5 points.
