Viswanathan Anand has described the FIDE's initial refusal to elevate him to number one ranking in its latest charts as inexplicable and strange.

Viswanathan Anand has described the FIDE's initial refusal to elevate him to number one ranking in its latest charts as inexplicable and strange.

The Indian ace added that he thought that somebody was playing a kind of April fool prank on him.
