Anand wins Dortmund tournament

Viswanathan Anand has won the Sparkassen Dortmund chess championships, beating Russia's Vladimir Kramnik in the finals.

Viswanathan Anand has won the Sparkassen Dortmund chess championships, beating Russia's Vladimir Kramnik in the finals. After the first two classical games ended in draws, Anand went on to win in rapid games. The former world champion now moves on to Mainz for a clash with Alexy Shriov. Anand will also represent India at the Olympiad in Spain in October.
