Anand ousted from World Championships

Vishwanathan Anand has been knocked out of the World Chess Championships in Moscow.

Vishwanathan Anand has been knocked out of the World Chess Championships in Moscow. The defending champion lost the fourth game of his semi-final despite having while against Vassily Ivanchuk. It will now be an all Ukrainian final in January with Ivanchuk playing 18-year-old Ruslan Ponomariov who could now go on to become the youngest world champion.
