Olympic bronze medallist boxer Vijender Singh says he will spare time for modelling only if he gets free time.

New Delhi:

Realising that his worth is because of his achievement in the ring and his good looks are a bonus, Olympic bronze medallist boxer Vijender Singh says he will spare time for modelling only if he gets free time.

"I am what I am because of my boxing achievements. Whatever recognition I have received is because of my performance in the ring. So my first priority will be boxing, I will never leave it," he told PTI.

"I can do modelling only if I have time to spare, not otherwise. In fact, at the moment I am just enjoying the reception I am getting from everyone. I want to reach Bhiwani as soon as possible," he said.

"I am now planning a big holiday in Europe next month," he added.

Vijender made history by winning the first-ever boxing medal for India at the Beijing Olympics. He lost a close bout to Cuba's Emilio Correa Bayeaux.

"I will try hard to go for a gold at 2012 London Games," he added.
