Welterweight boxing champion Zab Judah will face Argentina's Carlos Baldomir at Madison Square Garden on January 7.

Welterweight boxing champion Zab Judah will face Argentina's Carlos Baldomir at Madison Square Garden on January 7. "It means so much to me to again be fighting in my hometown and at the Garden," Judah said. Judah, 34-2 with one no-contest and 25 knockouts, is a three-time world champion. He won the undisputed welterweight title in February, stopping Cory Spinks in the ninth round. He defended the title against Cosme Rivera of Mexico in May, with a third-round stoppage. (AP)
