New Delhi:

The Indian Boxing team led by M C Merykom returned to India after an impressive performance in the 4th World Women's Boxing Championships in Russia. The Indians finished the Championship with one gold and 4 Bronze medals and were fifth in the overall medals tally. Merykom won the gold medal in the 46 kg category, retaining her title after three years, which she had won in Turkey. But for the 19 year-old, even this has failed to get her a job. Speaking to the media on her return, the champion boxer said that she might just retire from boxing if she is unable to find one this year.
