While Sania Mirza continues to slide in the women's tennis rankings, Saina Nehwal has just reached a new personal high.

While Sania Mirza continues to slide in the women's tennis rankings, Saina Nehwal has just reached a new personal high. After her pre-quarterfinal showing at the Korean Open, the Hyderabadi badminton player has reached a ranking of 41 in the world. She's jumped ten places from her previous position of 51. The highest position she'd ever reached before was 42, which was after she had won the Philippines Open. After the Philippines Open win, Nehwal became the first Indian to win a Grand Prix event.
