Anup Sridhar lifts French Junior Int'l title

Bangalore:

India's Anup Sridhar has won the men's singles title in the second French Junior International Badminton Championship. In the final at Echirolles yesterday, Sridhar defeated Spec Miha of Slovania 7-2, 4-7, 7-5, 7-1. However, in the doubles final, the Indian pair of Nishad Dravid and Bahniman Borah lost to the French duo Thomas Quere and Erwin Kehloffner 4-7, 6-8, 3-7.In the women's singles, India's Aditi Mutalekar lost to Belgium's Nathalie Deskamps 2-7, 7-2, 3-7, 5-7 in the semi-finals.
