Anup Sridhar lifts French Junior Int'l title

India's Anup Sridhar has won the men's singles title in the second French Junior International Badminton Championship. In the final at Echirolles yesterday, Sridhar defeated Spec Miha of Slovania 7-2, 4-7, 7-5, 7-1. However, in the doubles final, the Indian pair of Nishad Dravid and Bahniman Borah lost to the French duo Thomas Quere and Erwin Kehloffner 4-7, 6-8, 3-7. In the women's singles, India's Aditi Mutalekar lost to Belgium's Nathalie Deskamps 2-7, 7-2, 3-7, 5-7 in the semi-finals. (PTI)
