Indian junior athletes continued their good performance to win more medals on the third and penultimate day of the Asian Junior Athletic Championships being held at Bangkok. India today clinched four medals in all - one silver and three bronzes. Mukesh Kumar Yadhav won the silver in the men's 10,000 metres event, while the promising Seema Antil bagged the women's discus bronze. The other two bronze medals came from P Shanker in the men's 400m hurdles and from Amrit Paul in the men's discus event. Yesterday on the second day of the championships, India had won a gold, a silver and two bronzes. (PTI)
