MS Dhoni's luck favoured again as he won the toss and chose to bat on a flat batting track at Nagpur. The lethal Sachin-Sehwag opening pair dealt the batting attack in their own destructive way, soaring the scoreboard with fours and sixes. But unlike the other times, Sachin was the better hit with a healthier strike rate than Sehwag. The partnership was broken when Sehwag got out in the 18th over. But Sachin continued the magic with his bat and soon reached his 48th ODI century. His innings was over at a score of 111 runs in 101 balls.
