Doubles duo Lucie Hradecka and Kveta Peschke sealed a 3-2 victory for the Czech Republic in the Fed Cup final against Russia here on Sunday.

Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik, the second seeds, captured the Wimbledon women's doubles title on Saturday with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Sabine Lisicki of Germany and Australia's Samantha Stosur.

Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina bowed out of the Madrid Open after losing their quarter final in straight sets to second seeds Kveta Peschke of Czech Republic and Katarina Serbotnik of Slovania on Thursday.
