Many do not give credit to the current West Indies side of having the ability to achieve much. Streaks of individual brilliance however, can never hurt a team as a whole. A look at the Caribbean stars who have the ability to hurt a touring India this season. (AFP and AP images)
Ravi Rampaul: His performance against India is credible and has been in deadly form in the recent past as well and will look to bowl his team to victory.
Devendra Bishoo: This youngster had a good outing in Bangladesh and is brimming with confidence. His ability to turn the ball has been well-appreciated and may just steal the thunder from his more experienced Indian counterparts.
Marlon Samuels: With the ability to lash out and play sensibly at free-will, this right handed batsman has the potential to hurt the bowling with unforgiving consistency.
Darren Sammy: The West Indies skipper is always high on confidence and has already declared a tough time for the touring Indians as far as the cricket itself is concerned.
Shivnarine Chanderpaul: Experience can be weighed in gold when it comes to this south-paw. His tiff with the board aside, the Indians will look to remove him early on in the Test series to gain comprehensive advantage.
