US Open 2012: Highlights from Day 4
While Slovakia's Martin Klizan knocked much touted Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the second round of the US Open, Venus Williams was the casualty in the women's section. Other top-seeds sailed through.

Venus's sister Serena Williams did not have any troubles though as she beat Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez of Spain in straight sets to advance.
Czech player Tomas Berdych too cruised into the third round with a runaway victory over Jurgen Zopp.

The five time US Open champion Roger Federer had little trouble in brushing Bjorn Phau aside en route to round 3 at the Flushing Meadows.
Ana Ivanovic sailed past Swedish player Sofia Arvidsson to book a third round place at the US Open 2012.
Maria Kirilenko, who has looked consistent over the past few months, too breezed into the third round after a straight sets victory over Greta Arn.
