Queen Elizabeth II visited Lord's on Thursday to watch the start of the second Ashes Test between England and Australia.
Jonathan Bairstow scored his third fifty in-a-row at Lord's. He was involved in 144-run partnership with centurion Ian Bell.
Ian Bell notched up his 19th century in Tests and second in this series. He also became the fourth England player to score centuries in three consecutive Ashes Tests after Chris Broad, Wally Hammond and Jack Hobbs.
Steven Smith brought Australia back in the game with timely wickets of Ian Bell, Jonathan Bairstow and Matt Prior.
