Golovin, Vaidisova advance at Zurich

The 19-year-old Frenchwoman, who won her first two WTA Tour titles this season, will next face fifth-seeded Ana Ivanovic. Golovin lost to the Serb in the opening round in both 2004 and 2005.
Nicole Vaidisova also advanced, using 11 aces to post a 6-4, 6-2 win over Katarina Srebotnik, who committed six double-faults and failed to convert two break points. The Czech teenager will play US Open semifinalist Jelena Jankovic in the next round.
