Italy's Pennetta wins Bangkok Open
Italy's Flavia Pennetta outclassed Taiwanese teen Chan Yung-jan and claimed her fourth career title, winning the final of the Bangkok Open 6-1, 6-3.

"It was tough conditions," Pennetta said, but added that she will "leave here with the good memory of beating great players."
Pennetta advanced to the final after beating Venus Williams in the semis.
The No 7-seeded Italian played aggressive at the baseline and power served, while the Taiwanese struggled to keep up.
"She played well, didn't make mistakes and deserved to win," said 18-year-old Chan, who was playing in her first WTA final.
