Swiss tennis ace Roger Federer has set a new benchmark of style by hitting the tennis court wearing the new Google Glass equipment along with his coach Stefan Edberg. The seven-time Wimbledon champion put up a video on his YouTube page that shows him playing a round of tennis while wearing the Glass. The video is a mixture of the actual footage recorded by Glass and cameramen shots capturing Federer play.
Although the footage received from Glass was shaky, it gave a sneak-peek of how it feels like to be in Federer's shoes when he is out swinging the racquet like a grand legend.
The video, which has been shot in Google's Silicon Valley campus, still shows limitations of wearing the Glass when somebody is moving constantly. Federer is seen shaking hands, taking photos and signing autographs with fans after some serious tennis that has elements of grunting, jumping and some calm volleying.
Google Glass is an eyewear computer that gets you information in the form of a smartphone. You can search, share photos and videos, do a bit of messaging and more through the same device. ÂÂ
Federer's wife Mirka recently gave birth to a second set of twins but the Swiss star has made it clear that tennis will never take a backseat in his life.
