Portugal:Novak Djokovic won his third ATP title of the year on Sunday, beating Richard Gasquet of France 7-6 (7), 0-6, 6-1 in the Estoril Open final.
The third-seeded Serb and the fifth-seeded Gasquet each dropped serve twice in the first set, but Gasquet dropped a set point while leading 6-5 before Djokovic saved three more in the tiebreaker.
The Frenchman broke three times to easily win the second set.
Djokovic led 3-0 in the third set and broke again in the sixth game before serving out the match.
The fifth-ranked Djokovic has also won at Adelaide, Australia, and Key Biscayne, Florida, this year.
"I had some luck in the first set and in the second what happened to me is inexcusable. I couldn't take him on, but I found energy to recover in the third," Djokovic said. "This title will bring me more motivation to continue playing like this until (the French Open)."
It was Gasquet's first final of the year after having won three titles in 2006.
Greta Arn clinches title
Earlier, Greta Arn of Germany rallied to beat Victoria Azarenka of Belarus 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (3) for the women's title.
Arn saved three match points in the third set before forcing the tiebreaker, where the 176th-ranked German broke Azarenka three times.
The 28-year-old Arn won her first career WTA Tour event after having won four lower-level competitions. Azarenka, ranked 68th, had reached her first final.
Arn rallied after the first set and broke Azarenka twice in the second set.
She broke the 18-year-old Azarenka on her third try to open the third set, then saved three break chances before breaking her opponent again to push out to a 3-0 lead.
Azarenka rallied, breaking the German qualifier twice over the next six games before holding for a 40-15 advantage in the 10th game.
Arn pushed it to deuce then saved match point for the third time before the players exchanged breaks to take it to the tiebreaker.
