Jacques Kallis showed exactly why he has been one of the greatest exponent of the game, when he hit a superb century - 45th overall and seventh against India, on Day 4 of the second Test - his farewell match. Here are some of the highlights.

Kallis was greeted by the Indian team and umpires when he walked out to bat at Hashim Amla's wicket, on Day 3.
The visiting team gave a guard of honour to the veteran cricketer who came out to bat in his 166th Test.
There was not much 'respect' for him once he began batting as he was treated as just another opposition batsman and was peppered by the bouncers.
A day later, the champion cricketer came out with the same positive intent and reached the three-figure mark in the opening session of play.
Kallis also surpassed Rahul Dravid by a run as the third-highest scorer in the history of Test cricket.
