Pretoria:
Bail for murder-accused South African sprint star Oscar Pistorius was set at one million rand ($112,770) by Pretoria magistrate Desmond Nair on Friday.
Pistorius will also have to surrender his passport, firearms and report to Pretoria's Brooklyn police on Monday and Friday.
The family of murder-accused Oscar Pistorius expressed their relief at the South African sprinter being granted bail Friday, saying "the truth will prevail."
"We are relieved by the fact that Oscar got bail today, but at the same time, we are in mourning for Reeva Steenkampf and her family," said uncle and family spokesman Arnold Pistorius.
