Margao: Having remained unbeaten so far, Delhi Dynamos will be looking to post their first away victory when they lock horns with winless FC Goa in the Indian Super League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda here on Saturday.
With one win and three draws, Delhi Dynamos are placed fourth in the table with six points.
They had scored an impressive 4-1 win against Chennaiyin FC at home, but received a setback when they were held to a goal-less draw by NorthEast United in their last match in Delhi. (ISL Schedule)
On the other hand, FC Goa have just one point from their four matches and are placed at the bottom of the table. They will have an uphill task at hands on Saturday when they face a team having a strong defence and good attack.
However, Delhi Dynamos coach Harm Van Veldhoven does not want to take the home side for granted as he feels that FC Goa have good players who can unsettle their opponents on a given day.
FC Goa have played well in all their four matches so far but were found wanting in front of the goal which saw them lose three matches.
Luck has also not been there on FC Goa's side as the woodwork came into their way in their match against Chennaiyan FC and Atletico de Kolkata, and on Saturday they will be hoping to get their first win in front of the home crowd.
FC Goa coach Zico is pleased with the way his boys have played in all the four matches.
"We have been creating some very good opportunities, but unfortunately didn't manage to convert those opportunities into goals. We have been training hard for the last few days. The boys seem fit and confident. We look forward to the match and hoping for the first win in front of the home crowd who have supported and encouraged the team in their defeats," said Zico.
FC Goa's Australian striker Tolgay Ozbey said the team was playing well and it was just a matter of time before they would get that first win.
"We've had an unlucky start but I believe as soon as we win one match, we are going to be a very tough side to beat. We have got an experienced player in Robert Pires and he is great on the field. Even right now, after the training for the day is done, he is still on the ground. It's good to have a leader in the team like him. We have a team of very good Indian and foreign players. It's a good mix of players. All we have got to do is click together a little bit more than we have at the moment," said Ozbey.
