Rajasthan Royals players S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan and 11 others were arrested by the Delhi Police last month for alleged spot-fixing in the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League. Since then the Kerala pacer and Chavan have been granted bail.
It is believed that Chandila received Rs 20 lakh, Sreesanth and Chavan allegedly received Rs 40 lakh and Rs 50 lakh, respectively. The bowlers had allegedly been asked to give away a minimum of 14 runs in their second overs.

A fourth player - Amit Singh - has been suspended by the Board of Control for Cricket in India after authorities said he was among the bookmakers arrested by police along with three other cricketers, including Sreesanth, for alleged spot-fixing in a domestic Twenty20 league tournament.
The Kerala government had dropped the state lotteries' advertisement featuring fast bowler S. Sreesanth. The decision was taken in the wake of Sreesanth's arrest for alleged spot fixing.
