Stats: Shane Watson's first ton is IPL's fourth century in vain

Watson became the fourth player after Andrew Symonds, Yusuf Pathan and Sachin Tendulkar to score a hundred and finish on the losing side at the IPL.

Chennai Super Kings have recorded their fifth win in seven games at the IPL 2013. Because of the better net run-rate, they are placed at the top in the points table.

Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad have won five games each out of seven played at the IPL 2013.

Chennai have won eight and lost four out of twelve played against Rajasthan Royals at the IPL - winning per cent 66.66.

Shane Watson (101 off 61 balls) has posted his maiden century in Twenty20. He became the first batsman to record a hundred against Chennai at Chepauk at the IPL.

Murali Vijay is the only batsman to register two hundeds for Chennai at Chepauk, Chennai at the IPL - one each against Rajasthan and Delhi.

Watson is the first batsman to register a hundred in the IPL 2013, bettering Virender Sehwag's unbeaten 95 for Delhi against Mumbai at Delhi on April 21.

Watson is the third Rajasthan player to record a century - the first two being Yusuf Pathan (100 vs Mumbai Indians at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on March 13, 2010) and Ajinkya Rahane (103 not out vs RCB at Bangalore on April 15, 2012).

Watson is the fourth player to post a century against Chennai at the IPL, joining Paul Valthaty (Punjab), Sanath Jayasuriya (Mumbai) and Abraham de Villiers (Delhi).

Ajinkya Rahane, with 226 runs at an average of 45.20 in seven matches, is the top run-getter for Rajasthan at the IPL 2013.

The leading run-getter for Rajasthan at the IPL are - Shane Watson (1417), Yusuf Pathan (1011), Rahul Dravid (991) and Rahane (906).

Dwayne Bravo's figures of 12 wickets at 16.33 runs apiece in seven matches are the best at the IPL 2013. Vinay Kumar has claimed 12 wickets at 17.33 runs apiece in seven games.

Michael Hussey (88 off 51 balls) has posted his third fifty at the IPL 6, joining Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma.

Hussey is the leading run-getter for Chennai in the present edition of the IPL - 305 at an average of 76.25 in six matches. Only Virat Kohli has registered more runs than Hussey - 322 (ave.53.66) in seven matches.

Hussey has got his eighth Man of the Match award at the IPL. Hussey is the second player after Amit Mishra to have received three MOM awards in the present competition.

Suresh Raina (51 off 35 balls) has recorded his 15th fifty at the IPL - his first this season.

Raina has taken his aggregate to 2390 (ave.32.73) in 88 matches, extending his record at the IPL.

Raina's tally of 99 sixes is bettered only by Chris Gayle (146) at the IPL.

Raina and Hussey were involved in a stand of 90 for the second wicket - Chennai's second highest vs Rajasthan at the IPL - the highest being 137 by the same pair at Chepauk on May 4, 2011

Ravindra Jadeja (3-0-45-0 & 0 as a batsman) has produced his worst all-roud performance at the IPL.

James Faulkner, with eleven wickets at 9.45 runs apiece in five matches, is the top wicket-taker for Rajasthan Royals at the IPL 2013.
