Harbhajan Singh could hardly stop raving about his wicket of Unmukt Chand. After all, Mumbai Indians' skipper Ricky Ponting dove full length to complete a stunning catch off the spinners' bowling during Tuesday's match against Delhi Daredevils at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Ponting has always been known for his skills on the field and at 38, he showed he has hardly lost his ability. "It was a great catch. I saw the catch and it reminded me of Ricky from 10 years ago. It was absolutely brilliant," said Harbhajan who had just that wicket of Unmukt to show for his efforts as Mumbai Indians cruised to an easy win by 44 runs.
Ponting in the post-match ceremony though, took a more humble approach to describe his effort. "I slipped a bit at the beginning else would have caught it easily," said the veteran Tasmanian.
Harbhajan however continued to praise his skipper and added that Ponting is a great asset to have in the side and is an exemplary leader. "He has been a great leader for Australia and we have to give him all the support here that we can. It is great to have him around. He is already doing a great job and I hope he can lift the (IPL) cup for us," the Turbanator said.
Seems the rivalry between the two has been finally buried down the IPL hatchet!
