London: He may have been ruled out to play for India but Sachin Tendulkar has a wealth of experience. According to reports in the British media, the Little Master recently shared some of it with young players of the England women's team.
While for many of the players, it was a dream come true to just meet Tendulkar, tips and secrets of how to excel in the sport came as an added bonus for the awe-struck players, mostly from the Middlesex team.
Local newspapers here, the Watford Observer, reported that Tendulkar passed on tips to players including Raveena Lakhtaria, an all-rounder who got a chance to have a net session with her hero. That Tendulkar has a lot to give to the sport and not just his team in the years to come is clear from such gestures.
