Torrential rains have cast a shadow over India's second 50-over-a-side practice game against Kent on Friday.
It has been raining heavily here since Thursday evening and going by indications, there appears to be little possibility of any play in Friday's day-night fixture.
For the visiting Indian team, it is their final 50-over practice game ahead of the five-match ODI series against England on, starting September 3 at Chester-le-Street.
India will also play a Twenty20 warm-up match against Leicester on August 29.
India had on Thursday registered their first victory on English soil, beating Sussex by six wickets in a 50-over-a-side practice game.
The Indians had earlier lost the Test series by a humiliating 0-4 margin to England.
